About Us

After having babies of my own, I searched for a unique way to announce their births. I also wanted to venture into something I really believed in; that would celebrate the excitement and beauty of a new baby. Hence, the idea of Bella Bébés was born.

The talent behind our product is Illustrator/Designer, Vicki Deane. Each sign we have has been created and hand painted by her. No two are exactly the same, nor would we want them to be. They are pieces of art that we want families to display with pride in their yard, as the first announcement to the world of their beautiful, unique new baby.

Vicki started her career 20 years ago painting murals in children's bedrooms. She is a local artist in Geneva, Illinois, who does all of her work by hand; out of her home studio, sometimes garage, dining room, or wherever she can prop up our 8 foot wooden boards to create something amazing.

We started our business with a concept, a garage, and the Yellow Pages to find our resources, and then went for it. In some respects, it reminds me of what raising a family is like... going with your gut, trusting your judgement, doing some research along the way, appreciating the little things in life, and enjoying the ride.
